Stock disc changer removal

I have a 99 expy xlt with the stock 6 disc changer in the console..... It didnt work when i had the stock stereo in and now i have a double din with nav to install..... I would like to remove the changer to put my ir headsets in there for my screens....... Any instructions on how to remove it?
