Would anybody happen to know the stock spring rates on the 2017 EL (or any 3rd gen, for that matter)?
I've got the Bilstein 6112's up front and find it to be too soft with 500 lb/in springs. Nice for off-roading and highway. Not great for towing. I'm thinking about either
1) upgrading to Radflo ($$$),
2) re-installing the stock front suspension (if I can confirm that the spring rates are stiffer than 500), or
3) re-valving and re-springing the Bilsteins (likely not as I am too lazy at this point in my life).
Would anybody in So Cal be interested in a set of used Bilstein 6112's ?
I've got Rancho Quick Lift out back which is a bit softly sprung for towing... but the adjustable damping makes up for it. Full stiff (9/9) for towing works nicely. Medium stiff (7/9 or 8/9) for everything else - off-roading, around town. Anything below 7/9 is underdamped.
