Straight pipe, no muffler?

My cats were hollowed out and no muffler peace of straight pipe welded into factory spot sounded great. Very. Very. Loud. Put a 40 series on it and now ots mellow with the ability to talk when i press it down. Lol.

did anyone do before and after testing of any kind to determine the effect of the changes (straight pipe, cat delete, etc.) in exhaust flow to engine power and mileage?

06 EB Expedition cats were clogged cut them and having huge issues after straight piping gonna tryin replace the cats and o2 sensors which I just unplugged will that fix it any answers
