Ok my truck has been in the shop for nearly a month LOL anyhow, they just found out that the fuel pump is going down the tubes. Pressure is reading 30lbs instead of the spec 55lbs that its supposed to be at. It started out as a misfire. When he floored it with the fuel pres gauge on it, it dropped nearly to 15lbs so looks like a new fuel pump is in the works and getting my beastly truck back.

After the 2 coilpacks, spark plugs, fuel filter, compression tests, leakdown tests, scanner diagnostics, fuel pressure tests, new vacuum lines, injector cleanings, repair a broken ground strap and 3 trips back to the same mechanic, once on a tow truck, Im hopeful that its only the fuel pump and a dirty fuel strainer and the pump just broke down over time. LOL

yeah no kidding! Is there any suggestions on what kind of fuel pump I should get? Like high flow Holley or just OEM?

My fuel pump is OEM, Im just exploring options as to quality and lifespan of OE over aftermarket.
