2006 Expedition Eddie Bauer has developed a "sway" when going over a bump, like the body wants to twist to the side. I'm thinking it might be shocks.
I took it to my mechanic recently for rear axle seal replacement. After I picked it up was when I first noticed this problem. Is this a coincidence? Or a possible cause?
I took it back to my mechanic who decided it needed new inner/outer tie rods to correct this "sway". A 4 wheel alignment was done at the same time.
Needless to say, as soon as I picked up the vehicle the 2nd time I noticed right away that my original problem hadn't been fixed.
I haven't been back to the mechanic yet because of my work schedule. I wanted to get some different opinions on what might be the likely cause of a problem like this before I talk to him again.
