Switch Illumination

On an '08 can someone tell me if the headlight switch and the 4x4 selector switch knobs are supposed to be illuminated so you can see where they are pointing at night. In daylight it's not an issue as the white line is visible. If they are illuminated how do you access the bulb to replace it?

The knobs themselves are NOT illuminated, just the writing on the dash panel.

Thanks, I suspected such but couldn't recall for sure. I'm guessing it's the same with the garage door buttons on the sun visor.
