I had that same thing happen after a 90 mph run up I 45 ftpm Houston to Dallas. I broke the PCV tube getting the elbow off. The replacement parts cost $7.
For a while I had PO401 also but it just vanished. I think some of the carbon buildup got sucked into the engine. It runs good. Had to replace the DFPE sensor and the EGR solenoid. PO401 came back, visited for a while, and left.
lol, on my Explorer if you rap on the intake you can hear air hissing into the motor. Needless to say it needs intake gaskets but everything's easier to reach cause it sits lower and the engine doesn't sit up under the cowling.
