i wanted a 7.3 when i started looking(spring 09). the huge price jump, cold weather issues(hard starting/forever to heat up) and the fact you cant find any w/decent miles and i dont tow anything. i wanted reliable daily transportation so i ended up with a V10. its my 3rd V10 excursion and i love the motor/truck :) but some people love the black smoke so to each there own right lol

A 7.3 excursion would be pretty sweet, but they arent getting any younger out there.
