This looks promising. I’ll be talking to my service manager about potentially having a drive shaft binding issue inside the spline coupling.

I’ve replaced plenty of transaxle half-shafts on front drive cars. Not one was designed with a “special Nickel coating” that didn’t require any grease on the spline coupling.
