well i was looking at my tires today seeing if i need to rotate them, i do, i found a nail in the rear right tire.

so now im rolling on the spare.

so then i went to go change the oil and luckly the first thing i did was try and remove the oil cap. and its broken. its just spins. left and right. dosent catch to remover the bottom part. what can i do to remove it? i can go buy a new one. but what can i do to remove the old one first?

Damn, sucks about the tire. I don't don't think that's fixable. :(

As for the cap, not sure. Push down and turn. May have to cut it off?

yeah i know. it sux. it holds air. so its like great. dont know what to do. but luckly my spare is a matching spare. just not the rim. dont want to buy a new tire.

and thats wht i feared. o well. i need to go get a new cap then ill just cut that one off.

I had the same thing happen about 2 months ago with my tires. I broke down and got all new rubber, now I have 85% left tread on three usable spares P225 75 R16 Goodyear Wranglers sitting in my garage.

doubt they will fix it i would my self but anyways... as for the oil cap pry the top part off and then use plyers to remove the bottom part any parts store will have a replacement

im just hoping the tire place will at least put a plug in. and im going to get a new cap in the morning and put the new one on. and i dont have mopey for new tires. got these for $200. and sold the rims they were on for $400. and the spare is an E load bfg at with like 95% life left. i shredded my old tire.

take your tire to discount tire. free flat repair, if they can fix it. if you wanna upgrade to 365/65/16's, i have 4 toyo open country A/T in the garage......

u know i want to! one little problem. i dont think my rims will fit and a 2" lift in the front probably wont either. if i get this job i applied for ill let you know. 35s would be nice though. look really funny the way she sits right now though. a lot of rubbin. im just hoping they can put a plug in. and thats where im going first thing i do b4 anything else. luckily my spare is fine too.

just to ad to it. discount didnt want to fix it cause it out of their policy so i fixed it. letting the cement dry over night then going to put it back on.

my sway bar link to the lower control arm on the right side... the nut is gone! so i have no sway bar there. i dont feel a difference in driving her. but idk wht to do. i know eventually ill have troubles. so what can i do to fix it? i mean like whats the part called that broke and how much should it be to fix?

sway bar links do that , u still have the original shaft and the bolt still there what broke off was the top of the bolt, the replacement part is like 13-14 bux, not bad but I did notice that the replacement bolts are skinny compared to the factory ones so I kept the factory ones, with the new bushings

Both my sway bar links have been disconnected for at least 3 years. I just haven't got around to fixing them yet. Guess I should get under there one of these days.
