So I went and had my oil changed at Juffy Lube today. Part of their service is they hook the truck of up some machine, and the machine indicated I have too much freon and that as such the a/c is struggling to convert the liquid to gas. The guy says I'm probably losing 2-3 degrees because of it. when I asked what I could do, he said by law the only thing was to empty and refill the entire system, but then he pointed to a little valve and told me that i could release some gas from there by using a pen or something to depress it. My question is, how much do I want to release in order to get this thing working right? 5 seconds? 10? 20? Any thoughts appreciated.
