The keys are the pieces of metal at the end of the bar that turns the bar as you turn the bolts. If you TT the front you are going to want to put a spacer on the spring in back if you don't have air ride susp.

Check ebay, most people get their spacers from vendors on there. 3" spacer in back and 2" TT in front gives you a 3/2 lift if you have seen that around on the site.

FordandPolaris, you are correct in that you will get 2 inches of lift in the front and 3 in the back, but that is a 2/3 lift, not a 3/2 lift. Slight difference. In the case of the Expys, you have to ask yourself what look you are going after. If you are wanting to level out the truck, then odds are you will need to do the 2" lift in the front and maybe a 1" lift in the rear. If you want the truck sitting like it normally does, but higher, then you would do the 2" lift in the front and 2" spacers in the rear. If you are looking for that "perpetually running down hill" look, then you go with the 2" lift in the front, and the 3" spacers in the rear.

Thermo, what do you thinkj is the rake as they sit stock? An inch or two higher in the back? so to level it out you would just do a twist in the front?'

Jay, yes, there is about a 2" rake from the factory. As the truck ages, it is probably now around a 1" rake or so. Twist the bolts for the keys a little bit and see what you get. Just don't go more than about 3 full turns on the bolts without moving the truck about 3 feet. As you twist the bolts, you are going to be pulling the inside of the tires in a little bit and that can put some severe stress on the suspension. Do not forget that after doing the adjustment, getting an alignment done will be needed as you have now affected the camber of the wheels.
