Just got my expo back from frame shop. But now, it wont shift into 3rd gear. Engine just revs inbetween 2nd & 3rd gear. It wont choose a gear when accelerating from around 35mph until about 5-15 seconds. My mechanic said i need to replace the torque converter, it needs a master kit, and some other hard parts to prevent future problems. He said could have a pressure leak and/or clutch slipping. Whitch sounds right. He estimated $1800 for all the work. does that sound about right, it had 170k miles with zero towing miles and i dont live in the mountains. So yeah, any help will be great! :) Thanks in advance.

That would be the same one but for me it will have to wait another 6 months or so. New baby due in a month and I decided to get the Edge programer first :)

better choice. lift can wait since you got a new one coming. a programmer is better anyways. since it will help once you do get the lift. i want to get the cts. but its pricey. :(
