Transmission damage if I lift and add 18s with 33s????

The tires you are running right now are already 33s. So i have to say that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard.

your stock size should be about **265/70-17**fix it for ya (365/70-17) right? if so discount says you can run a 275/70-17 while still being stock. a 275/70-17 converts to 32.2/10.8-17. so discount is willing to put a tire a little bit larger then a 32 on your vehicle stock. i bet you can probably tuck the 33's no problem. and i highly dought that little bit of a size difference is going to make your transmission drop dead. my bronco has a locked up rear end a 3spd w/granny and the engine is redlined at 65mph and my tranny hasnt dropped yet...but o wait thats why i like manuals hahaha but really the guy needs to get a new day job
