So I've been wondering about this; I saw the following on an Expy 4th Gen FB group and $70 seems a lot better than the $300 B&M dipstick. What am I missing here? They look exactly the same except for the B&M logo on the cap?!?

For what? I know there are some cars that do not have a dipstick. But why for the Expy? Might as well drill a hole in the firewall, install that gadget to check the oil level conveniently from the drivers seat? :p

I bought one of those from amazon and used it to fill the transmission after I replaced the plastic pan with a aluminum pan with a drain plug. worked great for that. once filled I removed it and checked the level with the factory marked dip stick once it was right I reinstalled the factory plug.

The biggest consideration: Is it made in China? If it is, I'm sure there are more than one way for it to cost me $9,000 in transmission repairs.

If so, I think the BombTech has the right idea. Trust it for about 15 minutes then take it out.
