transmission rebuild?

i have to rebuild the transmission in my 2001 expy, and i was wondering how much woudl that cost if i wanted to build it out to handle more power and not have to worry about overstraining it in any situation, if you guys could give me hints to it that would be great.

Have the shop rebuild the trans with a kit containing Alto Red clutches and Kolene steel plates. Shouldn't cost but an extra 200 dollars but will add another 30 percent or more holding capacity to the trans over stock. Will also firm up the shifts by itself without a shift kit but would also recommend a transgo shift kit with the new clutches but have them set the shifts for RV/Tow since anything more may be too harsh.

I need one and need a cost comparison other than my local RIPOFF agent.
