transmission rumble

My 2002 Expy EB 5.4... Transmission rumbles during acceleration most noticeably when shifting into overdrive under normal driving. It actually feels like I`m going over a rumble strip off the side of the highway.
It lasts for about a second until it fully engages. Trans code 1H

This forum is great! Thanks for all your input! I appreciated the advice I read here about the air suspension. My rear was flat and went to coil overs. I can't tell any change in the driving characteristics. I have the leftover parts if anyone wants them for the shipping charge.

Torque Convertor "shudder". Change the transmission fluid.

x2 on the fluid change. if that does not do it then you need a tq conv.

Usually if you are experiencing TC shudder its already too late.

It starts on the 3-4 shift and will move on to other shifts and even a sag in OD.

seems that's what I am experiencing now. I have not taken it into the shop yet. I have 115K mi. on her. I did buy some seafoam. I was going to run it for 5-10 miles before I brought it in for filter change and flush. I have noticed the rpm guage going high and low before engaging going down the highway up and down small hills . I drive it like a cream puff.
If you know of a good thread here on changing the torque converter please chime in.Is there a manufacturer that makes an upgrade or modified torque converter to prevent me from replacing this part after another 100K miles?
I am a mechanic by trade but not auto...(aircraft)
I am capable of doing the work.
