I have looked through these forums and don't see anything exactly like what I am experiencing or may have just over looked it. I purchased a 2107 el limited late last year with approximately 150k. Truck runs and drives great accept when accelerating from a stop the is a very light rumble until I reach 15-20 mph almost like if 4wd or auto 4wd is engaged on dry pavement. Once up to speed, the truck drives like a dream. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

When I began to get a rumble on light acceleration on my 2015 Ford Expedition 4x4 (purchased new / no towing) at 70,*** miles, it was the transmission torque converter beginning to fail.

The transmission fluid and filter had been changed at about 60,*** miles at my Ford dealer.

The transmission got worse, and failed while the Ford dealer technician was test driving it.

It took three months for the transmission to be rebuilt at the dealer after diagnosis, due to lack of parts from Ford. It was covered under my Ford Premium Care service plan, minus my deductible.
