I have an 07 expidition el that I have had for about 2 weeks. It seems when you are comming to a stop and maybe between 1st and 2nd the light changes and i decide to go it seems as the transmission slips and then catches. It doesn happen very often and it seems it has to be just at the right moment when you are almost stoped and decide to go. The Ford dealer says this is normal for the 6 speed electric trans but they always tell me every thing is normal. Anyone else experiance this?

have had the trans. serviced. Dealer says it is normal. I have also talked to several people in person that have an 07 or newer and they seem to have the same problem. There are many things i like about the expidition but the trans is not one of them. I had an 06 crew cab 4x4 and I wish the expy had the same transmission as the truck. I have learned to drive without thye slip but I will probably go back to another crew cab next year. Thanks to all for responding to my question
