on the 01s are the badges taped on or are they cliped through body, i really dont want to pull mine and have an ugly hole. especially being that i already have the ugliest ride here, im hoping some one will come take that away from me, but any way i have next 2 days off want to work on this thing a little

i believe the badges are clipped in. thats why i havent taken them off yet. dont want the holes either. the molding should all be taped though.

I looked from the back side of the fenders to see if i could see the clips, but i didnt see any thing, debaiting weither to put some heat to the front fender badge and find out, i want them gone, along with the side trim, but that will wait till a better day, i have managed to get lights on the truck, and the new trailer hitch wifes happy, we can now get a bigger camper,

From what I have seen/heard:
On the first generations-
All the Expedition and Ford badges have pins (3 each I think) that go through the body so there will be exposed holes if they are removed.
The door moldings are just held on with adhesives or tape--no pins and no holes.
I'm pretty sure on the Eddie Bauers and Sports the fender flares are held on with pins, but not sure about the rocker moldings.
Hope that helps.

You should put band-aids over the holes, lol.
