So my USB ports stopped working today in the area near the wireless charging dock. I first noticed when I wasn't able to access the music on a USB drive on the way home. I also was unable to charge my phone in the other port.
I ended up finding some info on an F150 forum about disconnecting the battery to reset the APIM module. Sure enough, I disconnected the battery and let it sit for 5 minutes or so, and reconnected. It now works fine, so go figure! Hopefully this saves a trip to the dealer for others if they run into the same issue. Hopefully this doesn't become a regular occurrence.
