Vacuum Line

Hi,
New to the forum,
I have a 2003 Eddie Baur 4.6 liter.
I bought it used and have been fixing it up for a year now.
There is a capped vacuum hose coming from the fire wall.
It is a whitish grey line, all of the A/C and heater work fine.

Just don't know what it is or where it goes.

Goes to the heater valve, over the passenger valve cover, under the cowl.

Open with no vacuum on it. Closed with full vacuum on it.
