i am having trouble understanding this Hex conversion for the VIN entries for these modules. I thought I understood and got a hex convertor to help. When I go to the module to program it, well below you can see my concerns. Firstly this is not a Right Hand drive vehicle, yet it does not allow me to change that setting. Also, the existing entries for the Vin 01-xxxxx and so on do not match what i got from the hex convertor. Nor do they look legit. When I open it to change the setting, what shows in that box is an ASCII face emoji. There is no way this is correct, right? Any help here would be appreciated. I believe that with those values entered there I am unable to make any changes on this screen because it says those existing values are incorrect.
I am trying to diagnose issues with the front drivers and passengers windows not rolling down from the drivers side switch. All other buttons of the switch are operating correctly. The passenger window operates normally using the passenger side switch. Not sure that one thing has anything to do with the other, but it doesn't look right.
