I am wondering if anyone can say that this voltage graph is normal. I am experiencing issue at idle and slight rough engine performance. I may need a coil but if the cause is a short then I would like to find that. My windows stopped working the other day in the rain but that may just be age... friction. One graph is engine off at obd port and second is running at obd via phone app.

Thank you

I don't know how to interpret that graph but it sure looks interesting. What app/scanner are you using?

Torque. I got an obd2 Bluetooth adapter for around 15 bucks. You can graph most obd stuff and read codes.

My voltage seems low. The engine starts fine but my horn doesn't really beem when I lock it, like it used to. It's barely audible. I replaced the horn.

I think the voltage would be a sin wave or a line but I am getting this wierd stuff. Especially when off there should not be wierd stuff. Not sure if that means a short?

Re: needing a new coil - my take on Gen1 coils is that they don't gradually fail over time. Either they work perfectly or not at all and there's usually a P030x code soon after they go bad. From the handful I've experienced, it runs so rough at startup that you will not want to leave the driveway.
