Just a reminder that if you have the FMPP (Ford Maintenance Protection Plan) it covers brake pads and rotors.

Our 2020 was in for regular service under the FMPP, and I mentioned that the brakes were pulsing, and that the rotors may be warped. I didn't mention it but it's possibly from towing our travel trailer up and down the Rockies every summer. I was expecting pushback from the dealership, but the tech agreed and after some testing they replaced the rotors and pads for free.

Does this plan go with 5000 miles or 6 months engine oil change interval or 10k miles or 12 months interval?

my honest take is it shouldn't matter if you tow and the crappy stock parts warp. If you were towing 10k lbs and the rating is 8k, that might be one thing. But towing should be an expected outcome on these and considered standard, in spec use. My rotors warped going up and down rockies passes without towing, and i'm very diligent about using gears and engine braking.
