I Know this has been discussed, but I couldn't find the thread.
I recently have a substantial battery drain on my 03 XLT. Battery load tests ok. Put an Ammeter in series with the battery and found 1.25A with "nothing" on. Pulled all the small fuses and relays one at a time not to find the drain. Removed all the kick plates from around the fuse box and found standing water. The drain happened after a heavy rain. Started pulling terminal blocks from the fuse block assy and the grey harness that has the dash was were most of the current draw was coming from.
I still need to track down the elec issue, but my question is were are the infamous sunroof and window drains that seem to leak on to the fuse box?

Sure sounds like it. You need to start with the sunroof drains first, and figure out from there.

Where are the drains? They start at the corners of the sunroof, use weedeater string and shove it through the lines to open them up. The drain lines run from the sunroof down the A pillars and down into the subframe behind the front tires, just inside of the rocker panels.

Good luck with the electrical man!
