Guys...I'm back after a long hiatus and now have a 2015 Expedition EL with 3.5L EcoBoost. I'm getting a weird noise upon moderate/hard acceleration. Anyone have any ideas?

I posted it on YouTube:

That is pretty loud... Does it sound like inside or in the engine bay?

A/C on during this video?

Does it sound like the serpentine belt is loose? Or does it sound like turbo wastegate is malfunctioning?

Any power loss?

Sorry it's hard to tell from the clip?

Edit: does it sound like a bearing going bad?

I had a 2000 GT mustang that made this noise now that I think about it. It was a PCV valve disconnected...

Edit: after listening again and few more times I am not so sure... Mine was more of a whistle

AC is on but it doesnt matter. Sound is in the engine not inside cabin. Im thinking it is turbo related with a vacuum leak. I also dont have loss of power or very little. But i also dont push it harder once I hear the sound. Weird thing is I can accelerate normal and no sound. But as soon as I raise it i.e. over 3k RPMs then the sound will like happen.

Sounds like a turbo boost.Maybe a hose or intercooler leak. Don't know much about the turbo ones ours is and 05. Peterbilt I had cracked the hose sounded like someone pulling Pig by its tail. Only on high boost.

Cooler line leak. Hose between passenger side turbo and intercooler was loose. Shop charged me diagnostics for smoke testing it but didn't even charge me for tightening hose clamp! #winning
