Hey it's time to do the shocks, actually past due. I was just wondering what the best shock for the truck is. I have been looking at the Bilstein HD Shocks, and the Rancho ES 5000 i believe. Any ideas, suggestions, experiences that could be shared would be great. The Expy is a 03 EB 2wd, 4.6L. We tow with it occasionally. Usually just jet ski's but sometimes a loaded low-boy. We also take it off-road from time to time, as we do live in the country and often travel to Corpus Christi to visit friends and family. Have been wondering how hard it would be to make it 4x4 for the beach lol. Anyways, that gives you an idea of needs and usage. Thanks in advance to anyone and everyone willing to offer their ideas and advise on the matter.

Procomp

will the pro comps work on the 2wd expy at stock ride heigh

Installed Procomps on my 2002 2wd about 9 months ago at 100k miles. I have been very happy with them. Great shock for the price. Check 4wheelparts on line. I got all 4 for about $160.
I have used bilsteins in the past on other vehicles. Great shock as well. you will not go wrong either way.
