Got the rest of my required products to start the custom sub box. Also established that the 2012 Expedition EL Limited 4wd with factory Nav and Sync with factory sub has 2 factory amplifiers; 1 on top of sub box for sub and 1 in dash under factory radio for rest of system.

Wasn't my expedition, but my friends. Bought a mirror for passenger side, had to primer, paint, clear coat. Used dupli color, came out decent for spray can. Their paint cans aren't cheap, but spray well.

Realized I had been driving around my F150 without a current insurance card (NOTE; my policy is up to date and I am legit, just the card is old is all- so back to the story, I swapped out Expy with the truck since that one is good to go :D I do enjoy driving this rig, it makes my truck seem even slower! Installed the Polk DB6501 components in the front doors; what a HUGE difference in sound quality! I didn't even add all the dyno mat or anywound deadener and there is a big difference. Should get to rear doors tomorrow. Kicks my ass nowadays.

Are you using the stock Ford amp for the doors?

Can't you put some tint on the lens of the LED light bar? Make it a little more stealthy cause it looks out of place and an eyesore now, either that or revert back to chrome grill

grill was painted silver from factory not chrome.really does bother me to see it behind there and it will hardly be used anyway so no one will be blinded except it might accidentally come on for those who don't dim there high beams ;)

PD my grill Matter Black looks good.
Now waiting on my Ford emblem overlays to come in. I ordered the black n dark gray overlays so that it matches the black out I'm trying to do.

Now you just have to find someone who still uses CB. I only used mine once last year. Seems like everyone I know is going Ham. I got my license.

I had one of my rear shocks replaced today. $75 labor was well worth not having to do it myself, especially in this unpleasant wintry weather.

I keep smelling coolant. I can't find a leak source- nothing under the dash, nothing in the engine bay, nothing underneath, don't think it's in the exhaust........ Coolant reservoir looks like coolant. Oil looks like oil.

Found it.

I haven't found the exact leak point, but somewhere around the fins and end tank.

It's normally covered by that plastic close out panel that's above the radiator so I couldn't see it.

Tom, how many years did you get out of that radiator. If it was an aftermarket one that lasted a long time, what brand?

Not Tom obviously, but chiming in anyway. :p I got 13 years out my last Ford OEM radiator. It did, however, go out in a hail of fire ... erm, coolant.

Hard to say. It's been in there at least 33k miles and 22 months. Possibly the original radiator but I can only say as long as I've owned it.

I know the lower radiator hose is kind of unique- I'm guessing it would be a good idea to replace it at the same time.
