I got bored and removed my rear windshield wiper and other stuff. Insted of painting I wraped it with white carbon fiber.

I think. I don't know what to think.

The dealership I got my ride from had a 5000 mile extended warranty on her. Had them look at the siphon filter or clean the tank because below 1/4 a tank but before the low fuel light, if I made sharp turns or suddenly stopped then accelerated she would die unless I pumped her pedal rapidly to feed her fuel.

Day one , I call in the morning, dealer says outside shop who does repairs can't find anything wrong, I offered to drive down during my work day to emphasize the problem. The dealer stated he would have them look into things further. I call later that day, the dealer states that the mechanic took a sharp turn and she began to act up, he informs me they are dropping the tank and going to check the siphon filter on the pump for debris. I call later that afternoon, the dealer states that there was a clogged filter on the pump and that they cleaned the tank . Unfortunately for the mechanic, the filter fell off the pump in the tank and more debris was sucked into the pump causing it to seize up. Free fuel pump for me, the dealer states she'll be ready by tomorrow morning.

Day two; I receive two phone calls from the dealer in the morning, he tells me both my upper and lower ball joints need to be replaced and since I'm there and already paying my fifty dollar deductible would I have he time to let them replace them? I oblige and keep my fingers crossed that I don't incur some hidden fees.

Later that afternoon I call to check on the status of my ride. The dealer states the ball joints were almost done however, oreily auto parts sent them a defective fuel pump. The new fuel pump would not be in until the next morning. I'm copesetic, who can complain when you're getting a 1000 dollar job done for 50 bucks?

Day;3 5/9/13- I call at 12. Tank is being lifted back into place , I should have her by lunch time. It's been a roller coaster ride of events but if 50 dollars is my end, I'm still stoked.

Not today, but Yesterday

As a follow up to my dash light upgrade, I updated the lights in the HVAC controls. It's amazing, now I can see all the settings on the dial.

Can't believe the difference a simple bulb(s) change made...

If anyone else is tired of dim dash lights, I can strongly endorse a brighter set of lights as a very easy upgrade that is very noticable

Funny you say that, the only problem I have ever had with O'Reilly is when they sent us the incorrect fuel pump for our application. They sent us a pump designed for fuel injection when we needed a low psi one for a carb setup in our boat. Needless to say we were spraying fuel right past the needle haha.

Just thought I would share what I did today.

First I added a cold air intake custom built went from factory intake with some small mods to all aluminum 4 1/2 inch pipe with a 10 inch filter I can definitely feel the power gain when I punch it. Now im just waiting to see if it helped my mpgs. Then i got rid of the factory running boards and installed some bully black bull aluminum side steps.

( i cant seem to get the pics to upload on here )

Removed the headlamp switch and did the fog light upgrade as described in an old thread on the Lightning forum, now my fogs come on in the autolamp position like my Jeep GC used to. Snowball project, put frog tape under switch to protect dash while prying out the switch and noticed later that the tape must have lifted some of the tan, so off to the local autobody supply for some SEM dye to fix the black spots..........I usually can't leave well enough alone
