Hauled some furniture to my aunts and then took the family to dinner. SO nice to have a vehicle that can carry all my gear (tool box, tow supplies, deer/gobbler feed), 2 large book shelvesand my son and wife with room to spare.

I installed supercharger a week ago now have a docking nose. coming from top of motor don't now if it is liters or rod barring don't now how to tell . Took it to have dino on it last week Saturday went out in the morning at 7am started it up and herd the pronounce nock . Blew my mine still can't bereaved it all the time I spent on this and now this . I have now idea what is wrong the truck only has 43,000 miles on now . If anyone has any idea how to tell if I have a litter or piston rod barring shot or his pin that is shot . I would really apreshate the help thanks .

When my truck talks to me at 91000 miles I listen to what it's saying, so a new GatorBack Serpentine Belt, idler pulleys and tensioner pulley is what it was asking for.

And for the heck of it I applied RainX all the way around.

Sorry to hear daoud.

Are you on a starter tune or has the tune been dialed in yet? You need wideband sensor to properly set up w.o.t. area of MAF transfer function. You cannot romp on it until this is dialed in perfectly or your asking for trouble.

If you post video of it we may be able to determine rod from valvetrain knock. I would consider rod knock more of a dull thud that increases with load. Valve train typically sounds more like a tick.

I put 25.9 gallons in it. I was asking for trouble. I did not notice the low fuel light until I pulled in under the shade to fill it up. I am used to the three week fill up from the diesel Jeep that's now about ten-twelve days with the 5.4L. Those dash lights have got to be brighter.

Did the gas station attendant at least give you a kiss after you filled up? A kiss makes the a$$ rape a little easier to bare at the gas station. LOL

No, he did give a receipt, I so zoned out not to look at the fuel gage and thankful that I was not pushing it to the pump and left $84 lighter. Where is my old 80', 280ZX that had the women to tell me "fuel level low"?
