Well not today, but more over the last couple days. I took the expy on a trip, in fact its first trip outside the US. Canada! We left on the 17th, crossed the border a couple days after, and returned a couple days after. Put about 3000 miles on it in that time, not bad.

Oh and I also turned 21 in Canada [emoji1] I happened to also spend the vast majority of my birthday driving in the Expy in fact, so while not a drunken good time it was a very memorable birthday!
Mandatory pics here;

Sorry for the long post, wanted to share with y'all

Not today but about a week and a half ago I swapped out the coils again however, this time for some HiPo coils.
The change was immediately noticeable. She's quicker, more responsive and I've already gained 2.5 miles per gallon.

I knew the previous coils were shit.

Holly molly I finally figured out how to adjust the headlight beam, what a retarded design and location for the adjuster (THANKS ALOT FORD) now both headlights and fogs are leveled. I had my left light pointed at the stars and the right was aimed lower than the cutoff line for the fogs.

I went with a set from eBay. (queue the flame comments) but I've also ran three separate sets now and I have gained some knowledge through trial.
I am lucky enough to have the 2v 5.4 so the job isn't that bad. In all, it took a little over 2 hours. The tougher ones being #6, 7 & 8.

I took it to the shop to have the transmission flushed/filled today. Mechanic said it was "fairly dirty" and I've only got 104K on the clock, so I would hate to see what it looked like if I left until Ford's recommended 150K.

Figured out my LSD doesn't work for crap.

It snowed last night and the neighborhood streets are super slick. I was trying to go up my driveway and I lined up both front wheels so they were both touching the curb and tried to climb the driveway. Nada. One wheeler peeler. Peg-legged burn out. And not enough traction to climb.

Also spun out a few times. Like I said, streets are slippery.

That even legal though down there ?

No.

§ 547.305. RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF LIGHTS.

(c) A person may not operate a motor vehicle equipped with a
red, white, or blue beacon, flashing, or alternating light unless
the equipment is:
(1) used as specifically authorized by this chapter;
or
(2) a running lamp, headlamp, taillamp, backup lamp,
or turn signal lamp that is used as authorized by law.

The chapter only permits flashing for turn signals.

That said, I don't imagine the police would stop someone for it unless they were simply looking to manufacture PC (probable cause) to stop a vehicle for some other reason. For example, a "420" sticker might inspire them to pull over a vehicle, but they can't pull over a vehicle for the sticker, so they look for some other insignificant violation to justify the stop.
