The Smart is supposed to activate the safety features of the other car (I actually read that somewhere). Not very Smart. And especially if you hit something that doesn't have safety features.

And the transmission, I read is an automated manual transmission.

If you lived in a dense urban area, and never left that dense urban area, which keeps your speeds down below 35-40, then maybe a Smart is a decent car. But as soon as they start trying to mix it up on the interstate and faster suburban streets, they seem less like a smart choice.

Yes, exactly. It's a city car. If I lived and worked in a dense city I'd consider one for going to work or something of that nature. I'd still have a "real car" for anything else.

Speaking of tire pressure monitoring today my dash started screaming at me saying "Tire Pressure Monitoring System Fault" and the light blinks on and off and it beeps quite annoying

I put some insulation around the cold line on my AC. Noticeable difference in AC vent temps. Getting tint on Monday. Recommend the insulation to everyone.

got it inspected and on road all legal now but i had a pretty bad binding issue while making sharp turns left or right felt really bad like it was locking up or some em ripping out, iv since pulled the fuse for the a4wd junk trash seems good now but i can't stand the whistling sound while driving it ANYONE ever have that issues 99 ford expy 5.4 4wd doesn't do it while stopped and does do it around 25 mph or faster never goes away runs an drives good idle smooth and revs nicely doesn't seem to be the tires either

Took it off pavement for the first time on a future job site it will be on a lot. Side note my truck brand new in late 07 was 32,000 dollars, today for the same truck it is over 50,000 equipped the same. that seems like a steep increase.

Yesterday and the day before, put on new front rotors and pads and got the oil changed. Put in valvoline high mileage 5w20, going to see if it stops my leak like it did in my Jeep.

went to junkyard and got a "rear hatch spoiler"/ air deflector i got it on yesterday, seems after i google images many an many 1st gens expys i seen only one and it looked different then one i got,it has a big ford logo and says expedition air deflector on the underside of it. i like the way it looks on there
