Hi, I just bought a used 01 Expedition XLT. Is there any alternative way to find what axle ratio I have? The door sticker has been removed and I don't see anything left on the pumpkin in back. Ive seen the posts with what the codes translate to but I'm not even able to find a code :(

Looking it up via the door code or tag on differential is the easiest way.

You may be able to look it up via you vin# ?!

But you can always count revolutions of the driveshaft vs the tire.

Mark tire and driveshaft with rear on jackstands. Tranny in neutral and parking brake released.

3.55's - driveshaft rotates 3.55 times per 1 revolution of the rear tires.
3.73's - driveshaft rotates 3.73 times per 1 revolution of the rear tires.

etc....

If you have an open diff it could complicate the count because the rear tires may not necessarily spin together. :(
