what is the difference between the 77 series and the fipk which produces more horsepower

I think the power diff comes from the fact that the 77 aluminum intake tube is a little smaller and has a little more restriction than the FIPK polyethylene intake tube.

I had heard that the plastic FIPK is more heat resistant so the air stays cooler.
