Hi - new to this forum. Hopefully this is the right thread.
Today I was checking underneath my 2002 Ford Expedition 4.6 and I noticed this hole. I really don't know why I've never noticed this before - Either it has been there all along, or there was a cap over it and it fell out causing me to notice it. I'd like to know if a cap goes over it and what it's purpose is to my vehicle and how urgent it is for me to get one to go over it.
I tried to find the undercarriage diagrams, but I was unable to find anything useful.
I'm not super savvy when it comes to vehicles, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
