What is this piece called?

Garbage man put the garbage can behind my car, backed into it and this piece cracked. Superglue and caulking aren’t doing the best of jobs so I had to wipe that clean. Does anyone know what this piece is called? And can anyone give me tips on removing this piece!! Thank you!

It's called a rear hatch handle cover. You can get them chrome aftermarket or off ebay for around 80.00.

I'd just throw some thin type double sided tape on that and be done with it it ain't cracked in half (yet) or broken no need to replace it, plus its 80 for the piece plus paint to match BS plus the hassle.... SOOOOnot worth it

Best way to fix that ... Pull it off, super glue it together. Score the back surfaces with 60 grit (inch of break both sides) and JB Weld patch on back surface. If you want to get fancy, embed some dental floss in JB spanning the break.

Stick it back on there with some 3M double sided exterior tape and put one of those chrome covers over it. Done.
