I went from 20" XP alloys to these....
Ford F 150 18"x7 5" Platinum Wheel Rim 2009 14 | eBay

The local roads where incredibly beat up over the winter and the potholes cracked one of my wheels. I went to the 18s to give more wheel protection.

Problem is though, I ordered some shorter lugs as the long ones Ihad would not fit under the shiny new lug caps. I bought some new ones on ebay that fit under the caps but the caps would not clip to these either...

Anyone know what lugs came with these wheels originally?

Looks like those are the same lug nuts that are used for police package crown Vic's and probably the new Taurus/explorer interceptors for the center caps. They have a collared lip on them which holds the caps on. Hit up a taxi repair shop or fleet shop and maybe you can get a set of them a lot cheaper

Igot the short style without the flange and no part of my caps even make contact with the lugs...? Did a quick ebay search to look at different styles and did not find one that looked like it would work. Going to check some of the OEMford parts sites for pics.
