This article is from 2011. If it has already been posted, please delete. I read it for the 1st time and was impressed with the testing. I still would purchase the Ford Extended Warranty however, just because of the extra moving parts, sensors and cpus required for this engine.

It all seems to be "If you can't dazzle'em with brilliance, you should baffle'em with bullcrap". We see trucks that go great distances without problems and we see some that cannot stay out of the shop. This motor was shown in detail but why wasn't the turbo? It all seems to be the Luck of The Draw.

Interesting no pictures of the valves. On direct injection turbo and all the owners installing catch cans I wanted to se the valves.
