We just got a set of BFG KO2 LT275/70R18 to replace the stock goodyear's P275/65R18 after we got 2 flats from a some forest road driving. Originally we got Goodyear Adventurer with Kevlar but Discount Tire could only get 2-3 year old tires at the newest so they agreed to swap out the new old tires they had sold us for the BFGs which were only 4 months old. We went with LT tires because we tow our travel trailer often and the upsized LTs were cheaper than the smaller P tires.

I really like that tire. Have em on my 150. Any pictures angled from the front so we can see how it fills up the wheel wells?

I've run Cooper A/T tires on every truck I've owned and I've never had issues. They're usually cheaper than Goodyear's and bridgestones as well

I installed All-terrain T/A KO2 on my expy I also do a lot of highway traveling and miner dirt roads and fair deep snow in the winter In the NY PA NJ area I never had any issues through the snow or highway driving They are not overly load in the highway or hum like some off road tires but they are not quit like all season. the ride is a bit harder than all season but then again it's not a sedan or luxury SUV BTW have both which why I reference it I had the tires over year now they still look new tread wear is good I haven't had a puncture or flat ( knock on wood ) over all I am pretty happy with them the only negative I had is on tarmac when it rains if I am on two wheel drive and try a quick take off you do get some wheel spin but if your on 4x4 you get none and they grab well

I get the Futura Scrambler tires from pep boys. Made by Cooper for pep boys in the USA. 40k tires that I've put about 50k miles on and about to get them again. Can get them for a great deal under $90 per tire and even cheaper on other specials sometimes! Can't find anything better. Good on road performance and worked great off-road up a rocky trail in my two wheel drive '03 expedition. Plus they look really good in terms of tread and the white lettering.

I'm ready to get new tires now that the winter has started early. I plan to go with Michelin Defender LTX M/S. I have been running Firestone Destination A/Ts They are getting kind if thin after 26,000 miles. They are about 5 - 6 32nds. If it was the beginning of the summer I would run them a few more months. The Michelin's are all season radials and will be a lot quieter and they have very good snow traction for an all season tire. I have 2/4 all wheel drive, so I am confident these will work well for they type of weather we typically get.

If they are anything like my new Michelin LTX MS/2 tires you’ll love them Andy, good choice. They’ve handled snow well so far while lookin’ good (before they got salty with the rest of the truck lol). Also bonus these tires are Made in USA.

Very nice. I would have put them on already but I fell and broke my left arm up at the shoulder so I haven't been working for the last three weeks so that project is on hold. The good thing is I didn't have to drive in the snow on Monday, the bad thing is that my arm still hurts like hell. :)

They are on sale at Tire Rack https://www.tirerack.com/specialoff...97&em_id=131054&em_lid=IMAGE+M957_321x203.jpg

Just installed the Cooper St/Maxx - only driven 1500 miles so far but love how quiet they are on the highway, yet it's still a very aggressive tread. I've ran these on a 4runner before and liked them on it too. I've got the Ready lift front and rear and running the 295 size

Went through 2 sets of Michelin LTX MS/2's that went bad. Tread life was good but carcass of both sets started to weather-check and crack. Both sets got replaced for half price.
Now running Cooper AT3's and happy with them so far. Road performance is good both wet and dry, not super quiet but not loud, off road performance is decent. Performed rather well in rocky, dry conditions in Texas Big Bend State Park. Am on the fence about going to one step more aggressive tread next time.

The Michelin Defender LTX M/S are a different tire than the M/S 2 and have a better rating then then M/S 2. I'm going to take my chance on them and see what happens.

Michelin only has the LTX MS/2 available for my truck, I think the Defender M/S is for 20” wheels. That being said the old MS/2s I replaced had a lot of miles and no issues besides tread being worn down.

I've read some good reviews on the new Firestone Destination A/T2 tires. I need a tire to handle NE Ohio snowbelt winters! Going to get a set installed next week. I'll post reviews down the road.

Hello Folks,

To the OP, your best highway tires are Michelin Defender LTX M/S hands down, especially in wet weather. They can be a bit pricey, but their performance are excellent. For all season tires from snow, mud, rain to highway usage with low tire noise are BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 hands down their not crawler tires but they do a good job in going through mud and snow, they excel when chains are attached them.

My 2008 Expy is used as a daily driver but living out here in Texas, highway usage is daily. My current set of tires are Michelin Defender LTX M/S, no regrets especially in hard rain they don't wonder they plow straight.

General Grabbers HTS60 and they are awesome in dry and wet conditions. Much better than the stock Pirelli in wet conditions. I use Firestone WinterForce uv2 for winter/snow tires and the Expedition EL is a tank in the snow.
