Hi

My 98 exp came with dinky little pizza cutters for tires. 245 75 16.

I upped the size to 265 75 16 BFG all terrain ko's. It looks better and sits a bit higher now. The problem I'm having is that my engine died a couple times after I upped the tires. Right when I start her up and shift to drive. After that it's okay.

Is this because I need to program the wheel size into the computer or something?

Or is it totaly unrelated?

could be a idle air contol or IAC this controls the idle speed
and is a common problem

bigger tires dont cause it to dies and we need alittle more info does it dies right at start up after sitting all night and if so i agree with just4fun i would put a new iac on and see if that dont fix your problem
