Hey all from aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard in not so sunny Sasebo, Japan. I'm originally from North Central Louisiana, but have been stationed in Jacksonville, FL with the Navy for most of my career. Hoping to head back when I'm done with this tour. I have a 2001 Exp 4x4 Sport(Mama's ride) and a 2005 F150xlt 4x4. I'm interested in converting the Expy to diesel so the exhaustive research process begins. With all of the advances in diesel technology and so many people doing diesel swaps, one would think that the auto industry would take the hint and start offering diesel options for the half tons, but oh well. I think it will be more fun doing it myself anyways. With 19 months left in my tour over here, I guess I've got plenty of time to plan it out.lol Anywho, that's me. If anyone has insight as to what special parts may be available to me over here, I'm all ears.
