I have a 98 ford expedition eddie bauer 5.4. I have been hearing whining noice at low speeds. It sounds like an old stereo that needs a noise filter. I have replaced belt, belt tenssioner,. It does not do it all the time. Thanks for the help.

If it changes pitch with engine revs... could be a loose ground. Could also be a tire/wheel bearing issue as well.

I am having issues with a humming at idle with my IAC. I am suspecting that the intakes are very sensitive so you may want to check the air filter for any restrictions that can cause the whine at a certain throttle rate.

hard to be more helpful without hearing it.

Good luck.
