Whining noise question
Ok,
First Hello to everyone,
I have a 2004 XLS
4.6l
4x4
106,000 miles
Only mods are after market nerf bars
I recently took a trip to Ruidoso NM 1100 mile round trip
The Expy performed great with an avaerage of 17.8mpg with 75mph @ 2000rpm.
Only issue was I have a very dull whining sound sound when under load.
I cant tell if this from the transmission or axle. I read somewhere that this model has some axle issues don't remember if it said front or rear.
Should I be worried?
Is this a recall?
