Apparently a dealer in Kentucky got some navigators. They're not on the website though, they posted on fb.

I ordered a 2025 Expedition Max Platinum SPP on Feb 12. Received Order Confirmation email next day and haven't heard anything further.

You can expect to receive an update regarding your order within the next 45 days. We’ll notify you as soon as your vehicle has been placed on the production schedule.

Mine was scheduled, got txt and email this morning, week of 5/5 is my scheduled week. Plat stealth performance, which i believe was one of the few types where the rims werent an issue with availability.

New to the group but my vehicle has been in production since 2/13 but was told it was moved into “Quality control” (I guess it won’t provide that detail with the Ford tracking site). I’m hoping to have my Expedition sooner rather than later. My family is looking to take a vacation in April, and then we'll be PCSing to Colorado. If I hear more I’ll send an update.

None have shipped yet, no retail orders, no stock orders, nothing. From my understanding holding first round builds for QC checks/tweaks is not abnormal, but this certainly seems to be lagging on for a bit.

And it doesn't seem like ford is communicating with dealers about which trucks theyre shipping and when.

I agree. When I ordered my 2020 Explorer ST, Ford production and dealerships seemed more in-synced. I at least knew there would be a delay and the reason behind it. This time around everything is a guessing game and Ford hasn’t wanted to speak upon it.

I was hoping sometime this week, however, the navigator video from car confections wasn't an event drive, that was a navigator that made it to the dealership for sale.

Tim Bartz from Long McArthur Ford gives a lot of info on his live streams on YouTube as far as delay updates and which configurations of options in your build may take longer, the video below has scheduling info for March 20th. The Expedition news starts right around 9:29 of the video. Was very helpful when I ordered my wife’s ‘20 Explorer and my ‘23 Expy. If you get to watch the livestreams you can post questions in the live chat and he may provide additional info as well, hope this helps.

Lots of wheels are apparently not available and that lack of availability is holding up new Expeditions.

From the video referenced above, these wheels are not available:

My dealer has sent me my window sticker and says it is ready to ship but the website still says in production. Ford seems to be lacking in communication skills on this one which is odd since it a first class company. Mine went into production 3/3 and was pulled 3/11 for quality control. Lets hope they have the issues worked out and the trucks will hit the road soon.

Your dealer probably does not have direct knowledge of what's going on at the factory. If yours was "pulled 3/11 for quality control", it's probably still sitting on a parking lot at the factory waiting for someone to check something or waiting for parts that haven't shown up yet.

This. They don’t know anything beyond the milestones that are met and reported on.
