What is a/the CAI? Cold Air Induction is the answer.....

I would be surprised if a CAI did anything unless you update the tune like 16plati did. My experience on multiple vehicles has shown that a CAI alone isn't going to make much, if any, difference and your money would be better spent on something else. I would probably suggest a tune long before a CAI.

CAI is pointless unless you get a custom tune for it. Stock tune you’ll see like 7hp in the 5-6000 rpm range, where most people never drive
