Warranty backed. You can push more but your losing all your coverage. Thought it was pretty impressive.

Apparently that’s not enough for some people.... bahaha just ball busting. Imagine the 0-60 time in a mustang equipped with this. Pretty soon Ford is going to be breaking the sound barrier.
Some people would get into trouble with all of that kind of power. :) In more ways than one.

The power they can generate out of modern engines makes the muscle car era engines look weak. I never though that would happen. Amazing

If they can get 700 horse and 610 torque out of a 5 liter V8, which isn’t a big engine, imagine what they could pull out of the 6.2. The new 5.0 V8 puts out just under 400 horsepower bare bones stock it’s crazy. An update is in order for the 6.2 V8 because the 5.0 is almost ready to catch up to it in power. My salesman said corporate likes the 6.2 the way it is though, he said they dropped it in the F-150 to encourage buyers who need that power to go to a 3/4 ton pickup. So at this point it’s not for performance.

Back in 1991 I was looking for my first new car. I was looking at the Ford Mustang and at that time it was considered a fast car with I believe 225 HP. I ended up buying a 195 HP Eagle Talon TsiAWD which I still have to this day. She has about 400 HP now.

Awesome...but overkill. Having that much power for the street, makes no sense. It will only get you into trouble(tickets and accidents) and incinerate the tires. If you use traction control, your pulling against the brakes, so what's the point? I guess you can take it to the strip. They usually laugh at guys, with "factory racers", especially when they beat you. 99% of Shelby owners are garage queens. Just my 2 cents.

Any vehicles power can get you into trouble My stock 5.4 does plenty of tread wear and is capable of many tickets. It’s how you drive.

OK, but explain how 700hp is going to be used? If you have it, it is only for aggressive driving. I doubt your 5.4l, 5000lb Expedition is anywhere close to that. I really don't see it, laying much rubber either.

I think you mean 6,000 pound Expedition***. Of course I don’t lay rubber with it but my rears always have more tread wear. You can make any vehicle lay rubber if your creative m. Maybe they take it to the track and race or do quarter miles. I don’t judged if you can do it have fun.

My 98 Corvette (sold this May) had 767 rwhp (905hp). Is that overkill....nope. Just allot of fun. My current high horsepower car is also a Corvette, a 99 with 528 rwhp (620hp). It's not in perfect condition like my 02 (400 hp) is but the 98 is a lot more fun.
The black is my 99, red is the 98, and the blue is my 02.20170829_181802.jpg

Interesting but...you probably spent a ton of money, for what? To brag on a EXPEDITION forum, about a car you no longer own. What is more fun about, going from 400hp to 528hp? Unless you double the power, there is not much difference and only on top end You would be better off, driving slower and let everyone see, you own a Vette.

I'm not bragging at all, just saying it's fun to have that much HP. And, it's 400 HP to 620 HP. Trust me, it's a HUGE difference.

He’s not bragging he’s chiming in on the discussion on his experience. He’s just saying it’s fun, which I’m sure it is. I’m sure you notice 100+ HP difference easily. Maybe I’ll go throw a roush charger in the expy and pull my 560 horses out;) not.
