That must mean you basically live on top of it in the summer because I don't think anywhere is a five minute drive from the Sagamore! ;-)
You're right. I smell ********.
It takes 5 min to get from the shell station at the old rotary to the bridge lol

Do you guys have stock uca's or bds, tuff country?

You guys are making me feel better. I was worried it was the spacers. I hate the stock height and rake, but I also can't be spending thousands of dollars every year or two because of the 3/2's.

Yup. A lot actually. Not as many as there once was, but there's still a lot. I live a half mile out on a dirt road. Hell, I didnt get street numbers until the 90s and we don't have rural mail delivery. I couldn't get cable until the early 00's. Also, my only source of heat is a coal stove and fire place.
Wow, you guys sound like good old fashioned "Boondockers"!

So the insurance company is covering most of the repairs. They won't cover one side of the rear upper/lower ball joints, the cv axle, differential seal, shocks or the ac. BUT I expected them not to cover the ac because it's too cold to test it, the shocks or seal. The mechanic said the car only really needed one axel and rear ball joints done, but he tried to get both sides covered. This was unknown to me. He said it's always good to replace both sides at once. Either way, that insurance policy just paid for itself and I expect them to replace the ac in the spring. I'm feeling a lot better right now.

That's a heck of a list, but I don't consider it all that surprising for a Ford. I've been driving Fords since '96 and most of my problems over the years have been suspension related. On the Crown Vic the tie roads were the most common failures. On the Mountaineer it was the ball joints. On my current truck, I've already blown 3 rear shocks, replaced a front axle seal, repaired a leak in the front diff and my driver wheel hub assembly has been going through a slow death.
