It sounds like it's coming from my transmission, but I haven't had any revving or loss of power. Any ideas or suggestions?

When does it clunk? Slowing down, speeding up, both? Engine/Trans cold or hot? What gear is it in when it clunks?
Thanks. I'm not sure about the first time because it kinda caught me off guard. The second time I was cruising around 40-50. Not sure about whether I was shifting up or down. Today it happened at around 60. I think i was downshifting.

Edit- engine was warm. Yesterday it was after a half hour or so of driving and today it was after 45min. All while in 2wd.

Just happened aGain. Twice within minutes. First time I was coasting at 50-55. Second time 45-50. No revving and it was after driving 50 minutes. Maybe it's not my transmission.

The truck is now a few years old, the vacuum hubs are probably losing vacuum and half engaging on the fly and will produce hard loud clunking. Almost feel like you are running something over when it happens in front?

It’s likely a leaky hub actuator seal or the solenoid on the firewall. Common issue of ford half tons.

This^^.

I’m willing to bet it’s the vacuum system

That's exactly how it feels!

I was watching some videos and maybe this is the problem. I bought the car back in 3/18. I pretty much only had it on 4wa until last week when I switched it to 2wd. Then a few days later the problems started.
