I have a 2012 expedition limited with factory installed power inverter. the outlet doesn't hold tention on anything I plug into it and it falls out. How do I get into it to see what is going on? Does the cover pop off or do I have to take the console apart?

You can just pop it out. The little metal tabs get loose over time because the plug is made like s***. You can just push them back together to restore tension. You'll be doing this regularly if you use the outlet often.
